The Story of VAI-KØ Eyewear:
Swiss Eco Material
Materials are something we take very seriously at VAI-KØ, that’s why we chose Grilamid BTR 600 LS as the frame material of our sunglasses. This material is made in Switzerland with green bio energy and contains 58% vegetable oil. It is famous for its exceptional heat-resistance, durability and lightness.
Hand Made in Italy
VAI-KØ shades are handmade in Italy. The Swiss material is first injection moulded, then the quality frames are polished, painted and shaped by hand. After that they’re assembled into fine sunglasses by hand in Northern Italy. VAI-KØ team visited the factory this Summer and we were amazed by the expertise and quality handicraft.
